Council conclusions on healthy and dignified ageing
The Employment, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Affairs Council emphasized the challenges older people face in the European Union. To tackle these challenges efficiently, the Council highlighted keeping health and dignified ageing at the top of national agendas. Therefore, the Council encourages Member States to address the economic consequences, the development of social and health services and a professional adaptation of training and working methods with attention given to health and safety at work.
