  • Global Observatory for eHealth (GOe)
    WHO launched GOe as an initiative dedicated to the study of eHealth – its evolution and impact on health in countries. The observatory model combines WHO coordination regionally and at headquarters to monitor the development of eHealth worldwide, with an emphasis on individual countries.

  • eHealth Action Plan 2012-2020 - Innovative healthcare for the 21st century
    The eHealth Action Plan provides a roadmap for EU Member State collaboration, with a defined vision for eHealth in Europe that is in line with the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy and the Digital Agenda for Europe. The Plan aims to empower patients and health care workers by providing smarter, safer and more patient-centred health services and focusing on mHealth.
  • eHealth Task Force report: Redesigning health in Europe for 2020
    This report focuses on how existing ICT can be used to revolutionize and improve health care methodology. It looks into the key issues faced by a reorganization of health care and makes recommendations for the use of existing technology.
  • COCIR toolkits
    COCIR toolkits focus on ways in which it is possible to accelerate the deployment of eHealth solutions. They have been published annually since 2011 and have focused on different eHealth solutions: • the 2011 toolkit developed 10 recommendations for better and faster deployment of eHealth; • the 2012 toolkit covered aspects of eHealth such as interoperability, cloud computing and eHealth market development and barriers; • the 2013 toolkit addressed mHealth, digital hospitals and legal and regulatory trends; • the 2014 toolkit's main focus was on how to leverage modern data-driven approaches to improve health care quality in a cost-effective manner; • the 2015 toolkit concentrates on integrated care, managed services, cloud computing and public decision-makers' use of ICT to facilitate integrated care.
