Data include the total of beds in acute care (short-stay) hospitals according the the definition but

Cyprus
General hospitals, public sector only. Up to 2005, cardiology beds were included as then could not
be disaggregated from intensive care beds. From 2006 and on, the cardiology beds have been excluded
for the calculation of this indicator.
Czechia
From the year 2000, data includes all establishments from all sectors (Ministries of Internal
Affairs, of Transport, of Justice and of Education).

in Health Service Executive network hospitals only. Beds in private hospitals are not included.
Israel
Licensed inpatient beds at end of year. Includes general intensive care, general surgery,
orthopaedics, neurosurgery, cardio-respiratory surgery, cardiovascular surgery, plastic surgery and
